Only one of many names we have for her...this is Z for Zena. 10 years old and 4 years of hydrating twice a week for chronic renal failure. Still she's our huntress, and she hogs the bed at night!
Our journey together began in 1995...late bloomers, that's us. Now that we're in Oregon, everything seems to be falling into place. So, 11 years into our journey, I'm finally creating an observance of our trip. Time is a favorite subject, as is the natural world around us. Books also enhance that journey.

Hey Char! Nice blog - it's a good way to check in and see what's going on with you. My one comment: You CANNOT have a blog with photos and leave out pictures of Pat and Jamie! Glad to hear The Warrior Princess is doing well. I can't believe you're still only having to hydrate twice a week and she's doing fine after 4 years. That's wonderful! Glad Ginger is doing well too - hopefully one of the cats will come around. Everyone needs a buddy! Everything is going well in my neck of the woods. Lola and Indy get along very well and it's funny to see them play; especially with the difference in their sizes! It's been so hot lately and Indy has been suffering so I gave him a haircut yesterday. He looks a bit like a small German Shepherd (and admittedly a bit funny looking now) and Rob is not pleased, but if it keeps poor Indy more comfortable, then so be it! It's better than him going to the garage floor to sleep at night because it's cooler instead of the bedroom! Talk to you soon... Rox
